So, tonight I went to the call-out for the pen-and-paper club here... only it wasn't the call-out. They'd accidentally listed the standard play times as additional callouts, which really didn't have much effect since there were several groups there who hadn't started yet. I found one, but we'll get to that later.

The more important thing, and the reason I feel it's necessary to point out that they'd mislabeled the callout times, is that perhaps the most amusing person ever was present. I hesitate to refer to him as a nerd or a geek, as I consider these compliments in most cases. Dork would probably be the best label. Aforementioned dork was quite upset that he had been mislead into thinking that he could miss the earlier callout time that was listed. He was not comforted by the fact that several of the groups present were looking for members. In fact, when offered a chance to play with one group, he stated that the whole situation had caused him to "lose his appetite for gaming." He stated this, of course, in perhaps the most stereotypically Trekkie voice ever. It was all quite amusing.

Following Stereotypical Dork's tirade, I joined up with the group that had invited him. It seems I will be learning to play Spycraft, a d20 game of which I'd never heard. It seems interesting, though. I shall probably update on it's viability as a game, and upon the campaign itself, later on.

On a side note, I need to get more dice.
