japan earthquake and tsunami
I've already posted about Japan all over the place, but still, I hope everyone can stay as safe as possible. Japan is the most earthquake and tsunami prepared country in the world and I hope they can save as many lives as possible. I've put links up to streaming news, google's people finder, etc. But.
I'm really bothered by all the "pray for Japan" messages going around twitter and facebook.
If you pray AND do something physically, that's great.
If you just pray, you haven't accomplished anything.
And why bother praying at all? God has control over everything, right? God caused the earthquake and following tsunami. What's the point in asking God to save people from an event he just caused?
If God had the power to create the earthquake then he also has the power to stop it. So what was his motivation?
There are so many things I don't understand about people.
Anyway, at the moment, this is what I'm worried about. Nuclear emergency declared after failures to cool a reactor.
