Wowwy. It's been a long last few days.
Saturday Alex and I had a date night! We went and saw Milk at the Castro theater. It was amazing. This is coming from someone who hates movies. After that we went and had dinner at Saha, which is fancy Middle Eastern with lots of vegan options. It was really good, but no Millennium, I think. God I'm such a fucking food snob.
Sunday my flight to Austin was supposed to leave at 1, but my flight to San Diego was delayed, so I would have missed my connection. They had to re-book me on a 3 o'clock to L.A and from L.A. a 6:30 to Austin, except when I got to L.A. my flight was delayed until 7:30. Luckily there was a place in LAX with vegan burritos. I didn't get to Austin until midnight. I wound up traveling for 11 hours!
For some reason my family decided to do Christmas yesterday. I dunno why, I don't pay attention. Despite my protests I still got presents from everyone, which wasn't so bad since the amount of presents had been cut by about 2/3rds. My parents got me a new computer, since mine is broken and I've already put $500 into fixing it.
The best part? My step sister got me Vegan Italiano and Vegan With a Vengeance, both of which I already have. But then my mom got me another copy of Vegan Italiano. WHAT? Luckily they included gift reciepts.
Bahhh I'm freaking out about my life. I have one more quarter until I graduate. I didn't take the placement test at City College which means I won't be taking the math class I need to get into State. I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I don't actually want to think about it. I need to start really saving money though. It'll probably be hard to find a job once I graduate.
