Yes, Scots use the word all the time. 'Och aye' translates as 'oh yes' . When referring to the Black Isle I think my family used the word 'Och' as a kind of short form or derivation from the word 'Avoch' which seems to be another name for the Black Isle, . I don't think it was an official name!
I have never heard it here - but that does not mean a lot. The understanding is a bit difficult sometimes. :-) Learning english isn't easy in scotland.
