I try to maintain some kind of routine to my life in order to stay focused. Every morning come hellish heat, high waters or driving snow, I have a three kilometre run. The exercise is obviously good for me, but moreover it gives me time to think and to take in the passing scenery, to appreciate it. Another routine I have is buying and reading through at least one book a month. I'm mentioning all this because I had intended to keep a schedule with my journal also, by updating every two days if I had much to say or not. It seems I have already fouled that one, ha. No matter, spontaneity suits this place well. Each time I log on there is another nice surprise just waiting to jump out at me from somewhere.
With the clammy palm and flushed face attendance of the Intermission premiere behind me, the next opening won't be until 7th November for Girl With A Pearl Earring. One great thing about going to these, at least for me, is the social aspect of it. These events are actually reunions to meet up with people I worked closely and bonded with, on and off the set. Seeing Kelly here made my pulse race and my arms wrap around her every chance I could. You never realize how much you have missed someone until they're standing there in front of you again. Tim is a great bloke full of vibrant conversation and many smiles, and they are the perfect company for a brilliant evening. I'm really looking forward to spending more time with them in upcoming days.
To Gwyneth and Damien, already the two of you at once is overload, haha! I foresee my stay at Hirst Manor is going to be utter bedlam, and I can't wait to find out what mad shenanigans are in store for me. :-D
