What Do You Have To Say? - Music: My First Favorite Band
Why can I only answer this question if I click the whole 'answer' thing before I log in?
Anyhow, I'm not sure I even remember the first band I became a fan of...though I know one of them was no doubt (which makes it kind of odd that Gwen Stefani's HP ad is over to the right at the moment)....but I know that the first CD I ever got was the Wallflower's Bringing Down the Horse and I even know that Matt Gregg who had a dog named Ringo (yes, after Ringo Starr) gave it to me at my birthday party at the skating rink because that was the year I got my CD player....
my CD player that would so very much still be working right now if it hadn't gotten hit by lightening back in June right before I went to New York and decided it couldn't read CDs (but it's in a box under my bed because I still have hopes to fix it because I love my eleven year old stereo)
Now, I have a question for you...I'm not all snazzy like LJ with the clickyness and the box, but you can do what I did and use their clickyness and then answer my question, either here or in my comments: What's the first CD/record/other applicable I-temporarily-forgot-the word-ation you ever got, be it a present or something you went out and bought yourself ?
Oh, and the reason I came over here in the first place and saw the dang thing on the main page: I have shoes, I have shoes that are really, really cute....the left one's too narrow....the right one might be, but I could maybe live with it....I'm ordering a size bigger to see if that works better, but....why can't you order like one size for the left shoe and one for the right? (and yes, I do know the answer is that normal --ie not me--people's feet are similar enough that that wouldn't work)......Also, normal people don't have an infected toe on their left foot that might be influencing whether the shoe's too tight or not :P
