too bad it's monday
well, summer is almost 1/2 way over and still I feel it could be longer. Had a good weekend going to the art festival in salem where I got a funky clock for the kitchen for $36, a lot but one's got to treat oneself. Minority Report is a terrible movie, regardless of what the film critics say. Tom Cruise looks more like a orchestra conductor when he's trying to download the images from the pre-cogs, waving his hands with that silly contraption all over. I guess "my big fat greek wedding" would have been a better (yes, cheesy but at least funny choice).
Boss is back in town today. Grr. He left word that he'd be gone until the 29th but I was right in assuming it was a mistake. But it still kept my hopes up. Now here I am trying to quickly cough up some data for him to look at. Plus I got to make a poster for the conference next month. Ay ay ay. Missed that cute girl in the little park over my lunch break again....guess I freaked her out by staring too much? Ok, enough. gonna go back to downloading data.
