Chocolate torches
Ah! Today has been so frustrating! Not driving is SO fucking annoying. Looking for a new job sucks. I feel like I have no time for anything! Pssssh. I think I need to hibernate and figure out if getting a job for the next six months is worth it. It’s time for a new plan. In the next month, I hope to have a second job, a car if necessary to get to work, and a better grasp of my internship options for the summer.
Asides from that, classes are going well, and life is life. Patrick is awesome, my friends and family are awesome, and things here at the apartment seem to be getting better!
I tried to stay in on Friday, but of course, had to meet up with Patrick and then the girls, plus many others. It has been so nice to have Mary around!!! It’s going to be weird now that she is gone! Saturday was Jennie’s birthday and it was so fun to see everyone! All I remember is whisky and The Human League!! Hahah, but I did drink more than I’d planned. When Angela and I were bringing out birthday cupcakes I thought we were going to catch the bar on fire. They were like chocolate torches with foot-high flames. Last night Patty hooked up the free pizza from Pete’s and I watched Shaun of the Dead and drank Amstel Lights with Patrick! Rent it if you haven’t seen it, it’s fucking hilarious! I forgot zombies could be so rad. Word.
I think I’ll take it easy next weekend and try to hang out at home. Maybe then I can take some of the shit off my plate. But, we've all seen me try to do that before. I suck at staying in.
