pruning
i had thought i might be more participatory.
i find that in fact i am inclined to exactly the opposite.
neither do i feel nourished, so much as drained, by the disconnected, shifting nature of online acquaintance.
accordingly, i've done some pruning, and will probably remain behind the "friends lock" for a while... which is new to me, and contrary to what used to be my purposes here.
but things change. i change. not always for the better.
to those few who i have jettisoned, please know that i consider you all interesting and excellent people. this is about me, not you.
i need to focus.
