I believe I shall be quite suited to this place. My time as master Hellsing was undeniably up, though I cannot imagine myself sitting back and taking the country air or whatnot. There is little that can be said for Hellsing’s policies on rehabilitation, as they are nonexistent. But the undesirables seem to have a chance of it. I am not one to ( Read more... )

Pleased to meet you, Sir. Rupert Giles.

The Hellsing Organization and the Council of Twelve? I'm not familiar...

A pleasure, indeed. I've just seen your latest journal entry.

The Hellsing Organization is an elite and covert operation created to control the vampire problem, as it were, in Great Britain. And the Council of Twelve is a modern Knights of the Round Table.

I see. How interesting... You must be from a different world than I. In mine, we had only one fighter against the demons and the vampires - The Slayer. Until others were awoken by magic, that is.

Fascinating. You will have to tell me more about this...Slayer.

Hellsing has a highly trained private army, and we also use a vampire as our ultimate weapon.

The Vampire Slayer was the one girl in all the world who had the power to hold back the dark forces, and when one was killed, another stepped forward to take her place. I was her Watcher, her mentor and teacher as she learned to fight the vampires.

Using a vampire to combat others is sometimes a tricky business, I've found.

A girl? I suppose it was up to you to train her as well as teach her in the classical sense. But one girl...against a world of vampires and their ghouls...

Tricky, yes, but Alucard is no ordinary vampire.

You're right, a Watcher trains and provides her with weapons as well. The Slayer was usually young, and they usually died young, even with a good Watcher. My Slayer was fifteen, I believe, when she came into her powers. It was something that was thrust upon her, but I did my job. I helped- Buffy survived.

Tell me about him, and the others. Please, I would be interested to know if the vampires in your world are the same or merely similar to the ones in mine.
