my saturday plans
I just got an email confirmation that I will spend my saturday afternoon and night judging highschool students science projects! Oh yeah Baby, I am yet again a science fair judge!
It should be fun, I have been looking at the abstracts of the talks I'll be judging. Damn some of those are real research projects, done in a research lab using complicated instruments. I think these are the mentored projects where you have to tease out the students involvement from the mentor involvement. I love to do that kind of stuff. Some are more basics, but hey good science is good science even without fancy equipment and tumor cell lines.
I am going to be super nervous too, in the middle of a bunch of strangers but I have to do it sometimes.
