Allergy Test Results
A late update but we have the results on Liam’s allergy results. His skin tests looked like negatives, but the doctor suggested a blood test just to be sure. Well it turns out he’s severely allergic to nuts and eggs then somewhat allergic to milk. It’s going to be hard to fatten up this boy. This week we’ve switched him to soy-based formula to see if his skin would clear up. The doctor suggested that Julie also steer clear of dairy for two weeks. I guess the good part is that he’s not allergic to seafood.
Otherwise he’s growing up. He tries to talk all the time and whines just as much, especially when we don’t know what he wants. Thankfully he knows a bit of sign language to tell us what he needs. His brain is definitely going, I see him watching, remembering routines and copying what we do. A couple of days ago he ran to the closet ahead of me and handed me a pair of pants, super cute. After the days he hangs out with his younger cousin Keira, he starts crawling around exactly like her. I’ve also seen him throw his cookie on the floor, go on all fours and ate it like the dogs. Funny but yeah...
