Week of Happy, day 7 (Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas)
I opened the door just a few minutes before noon to go out to the mailbox with Corwin to drop off some mail. As I opened the door, I saw the mail truck pass by, which meant that we had missed today's pickup already. So I ran up the stairs to get my keys so we could actually GET the mail while we were out there, and then we set out on our way to the mailbox. Well, apparently the mail lady was delivering a package to someone because she passed us on her way back out of the neighborhood (she'd have been long gone by then if she hadn't had a stop; I'm not THAT fast up and down the stairs), and she saw the stack of letters in Corwin's hand and stopped to let us hand her our mail. That was a very nice thing to do, and made me happy. :)
