Andrew and I are supposed to be off at the annual New Year's party catching up with our college friends. You know, being all adult-like and stuff, while my parents babysit Corwin for us. Instead, we are hanging out at my parents' house, because Corwin picked yesterday to come down with his very first cold ever

Andrew would be one of the few people to appreciate the vast majority of 80s and 90s heavy metal (STP, Metallica, etc) in Rock Band *chuckle* I love it!

But we're sorry to have missed you *hugs* I hope you at least get some sleep - I'm fighting to stay awake so I can at elast say "happy new year" before crashing :P

He had gone to sleep, but woke up again around 9:30. Andrew got him back to sleep by 10 and he proceeded to sleep the rest of the night through until 7:20 this morning. (yay!)

I ended up going to bed myself at 10:30 due to being exhausted. And woke up this morning with my own drainy sore throat. I've taken some Claritin to see if it's just allergies (since this is how I felt about three weeks or so ago when I took forever to feel better but no one else around me got sick in the slightest and we finally concluded it may have been allergies rather than a cold) so waiting to see if that helps.

We're currently in the midst of packing up to head back to Houston. Corwin is a much happier baby today, but still congested and still refusing to nap. He's been up since 7:20 (it's 2:30 now) and has had no nap at all. We're hoping he'll sleep in the car.
