So shatteredtenshi did a song meme and since I, for once, actually knew a few of the songs on it I got her to give me a letter to do the meme too...
1) If you'd like to play along, reply to this post and I'll assign you a letter.
2) You then list (and upload, if you feel like it) 5 (or 6 or 7) songs that start with that letter (feel free to explain why you chose the songs)... (Im not uploading cos Im quite fail at that)
3) Then, as I'm doing here, you'll post the list to your journal with the instructions.
Anyhows, shatteredtenshi gave me the letter O, so lets plug that into itunes and see what awesomeness pops up...
1) Okaeri - Ayaka = A homecoming song that makes me want to leave home. I fell in love with this song and her voice while watching Zettai Kareshi in the common room of my dorms in Japan. Even listening to it now makes me want to go back there. Which is pretty much the exact opposite of the meaning of the song.
2) Orenji no Taiyou - Gackt = I had insomnia for a while a couple of years back (I seem to have almost the opposite now though) and this song would help me get to sleep. It ebbs and flows with huge cresendo and then fading acapella that's kind of like a day ending... or well a sunset I suppose.
3) One Room Disco - Perfume = Best song to clean to EVER!!!
4) O.Sha.Re - Kitayama Hiromitsu = I absolutely love the Playzone 2009 album, and KitaMitsu's solo is one of three songs that I cant help but skip to and play at top volume when Im driving alone on the freeway. I love the dance from the butai, I swear they created the dance theme just to put JE guys dressed as construction workers in there.
5) One - DBSK = Possibly the first OST song to make me cry, why are so many korean movies so sad???
6) Osaka Rainy Blues - Kanjani8 = First JE song I ever learned some of the moves too. Kanjani are awesome... Kanjani in the rain, well, that's bordering on genius!!!
...I have learned from this meme that I really have very few songs that start with O, but of those I do have, most have a meaning to me. If you would like a letter to do this meme yourself ask in the comments. I found it interesting and kinda fun!!!
