Yusuke kissed Hiei softly, smiling as Hiei’s arms went around his shoulders. The Makai Lord tugged the ribbon that held Hiei’s robe and grinned as it parted to reveal Hiei’s swollen stomach. Yusuke leaned down and nuzzled Hiei’s belly.
“My son…” he whispered, kissing the cute belly button. “Take care of Okaa-sama for me. You’re a strong boy, aren’t you?”
Hiei stroked Yusuke’s head with gentle, delicate fingers. “You don’t even know if he will be a boy.”
Yusuke shook his head and pulled Hiei to him so that Hiei sat on his lap. He kissed the smooth forehead and buried his face on Hiei’s neck, breathing him in deeply. “Kurama will take care of you while I’m gone.”
Hiei snuggled closer to him. “I want you to protect me, not him.”
Yusuke chuckled, pulling back to kiss the pouting lips. “I am. I have to get rid of Yomi.” he said and his dark eyes were seething with anger. “That bastard! Using tactics like this to get to me.”
The Makai Flower rubbed Yusuke’s arms to soothe him. “If I wasn’t pregnant, I could fight with you…”
“Even if you weren’t, I’d still send you far from here.” Yusuke cut-off, embracing him closer. “You’re too precious to risk.”
Hiei pulled away to look at Yusuke’s eyes. “You’ll come back for me, right?”
Yusuke cupped Hiei’s face and kissed his forehead. “It’s a promise. I will come back for you. No matter what.”
Hiei nodded, satisfied and leaned in his embrace again.

Still not sure if this will be continued or not. But the thought of Hiei being the Makai Flower is kinda exciting, heh!
