The Weekend
What a gorgeous weekend! I'm so lovin' this weather. It's has gotten me in the mood to spring clean which I started doing yesterday with the upstairs bathroom and our bedroom.
We took Alexa to see Be Kind Rewind yesterday too. It was freakin' funny. And a few of the "sweded" videos they showed before the movie started were pretty hysterical too. We saw it at the Alamo Drafthouse so we enjoyed pints of Newcastle [Mr. Pibb for Alexa] and a bunch apps. It was fun! We haven't all three gone to a movie together in a while.
Last night D and I went to Chuy's for a couple ritas and take out. We brought home dinner and watched The Kingdom together. What a powerful movie! And I just love Jamie Foxx. He even threw in a line about Terrell, Texas - where he's from - which was cute. Some friends of ours went to school with him. And I just think it's so cool that someone from tiny little Terrell, Texas can make it so big.
I slept in until past 10am this morning...woohoo!! I've been in desperate need of catching up on sleep and this weekend has just been perfect for it. D cooked steak 'n eggs for breakfast...Mmmm. Mmmm. Good. :) I've been pondering giving up red meat lately. I start to think it wouldn't be that hard. Then I think...yeah, it might be. But I'm still thinking about it.
Today I will continue spring cleaning, go for a long run and maybe catch a little of the PGA tournament later on.
