My first fandom
I've kind of had ambivalent feelings about the new Star Trek movie up until now. To me the original actors are always going to be Kirk and Spock and I can't imagine ever liking anyone else as much. But I just read the new spoilers for the movie and I'm starting to get excited. Let's just say that they're looking extremely high on the fan service. Also interesting is this pic of Zachary Quinto (Sylar on Heroes) as Spock. It's kind of blurry, but he really looks like the character. I also investigated the other actors in the film. Chris Pine looks physically appropriate as Kirk, but I've never seen him in anything. Karl Urban (Eomer in LoTR) is playing McCoy, which could be interesting. And I think Simon Pegg will be great as Scotty. Eric Bana is also in the movie, although his role is kind of a spoiler. I just wish it was coming out this Christmas instead of next Christmas!
