Expo!
Had lots of fun at MCM Expo on Saturday! Spent most of the day with yavannauk hitting up all the David Giuntoli stuff. First up was the autograph line which actually wasn't too long.
While I was waiting for David I had a good view of the Teen Wolf actors. They didn't have anyone lined up at all which I thought was kind of surprising.
They seemed very happy to get to shake hands with a storm trooper though!
Also saw a really amazing Loki ahead of me in line.
And spotted Anthony Daniels (C3PO) signing a few million autographs.
David was very nice and friendly when I finally met him. He said that he was quite jet-lagged, but seemed to be enjoying himself so far.
I also got a picture while he was waiting around for the photographer for the photo shoots to arrive.
First up at the panel was Raphael Sbarge who plays Jiminy Cricket in Once Upon a Time. I haven't actually gotten to his episodes yet, but he seemed very nice.
David was next up!
And a brief summary of the questions he answered (Not the most interesting I thought, but I didn't actually ask him anything, so I can't really comment. XD)
*After leaving London he's flying straight back to Portland to start filming season 2 of Grimm on Tuesday!
*He was really grossed out delivering the egg out of the chicken woman's neck and thought that it was like performing a c-section.
*His favorite character for Nick to interact with on the show is Monroe. His favorite guest star was the dragon girl, Ariel. He said that she was a lot of fun!
*He hopes that Nick becomes more of a badass in Season 2 and gets to show more of his hardcore Grimm side.
*He did research at a local police station for the role of Nick and thought that it was really boring.
*The cast and crew were very excited when they found out they had been picked up for two more seasons and wanted to say 'take that' to all the people who dissed them.
*It was Nick that David originally auditioned to play. He loves Monroe and thinks that Silas is brilliant, but he wouldn't rather play any other character.
*Most of the gross stuff in the show doesn't bother him, but he had trouble with the episode where there was a corpse in a car with live rats crawling in it.
*He said that Monroe and Rosalee's relationship would be developed further in season 2.
*He thinks that Nick and Monroe have a lot of chemistry and a unique fun relationship.
*He likes chocolate cake with yellow icing. (Random, I know, but someone actually asked this.)
*Someone commented that Monroe's car was originally a different color in the first ep and then it changed to its current color. (white and then yellow, I think) He didn't really remember, but said that the car was a piece of junk and it was really hard fitting two grown men into it.
*He would like to be on Downton Abbey playing a foreigner and his favorite British TV show is The Office.
