Life is uncertainty. I stare up at the vast skies, in hopes to seek guidance from those who have been sent. To no avail, a part of me is unable to believe you are not at home, breathing...living.... a virtuous life.... - エリカ

This past weekend  I went with Divine to the Millions More Movement. It's ridiculous that they didn't even publicly announce it on T.V. I didn't even know till the day of, that this event was occuring...."America" likes to hide shit from us. They have us ( hispanic *gringes* latinos and whathaveyous) believing falacies. We celebrate the day of Christopher Colombus. In secret we celebrate the genocide...of our aboriginals....While I was there I felt uneasy, even through minority union, I still felt seperatism; even in an event to enlighten us, on events that occured in past days in the Caribbean, US,...etc. A speech is good and all because it brings awareness. But, the aware feel no need to make the words become reality. They blame others, its a cycle. A self-fulfilling prophecy.

The only thing that angered me was that I arrived too late and missed Erykah Badu's,Russel Simmons' speech and I am pretty sure Common was there (or so I heard). Also Farakan did do a minor fuck up when he listing off places in the Caribbean...because he mentioned Venenzuela. Since when was Venenzuela in the Caribbean? I couldn't help but laugh out loud when he said it. I got many stares.
