(no subject)
OK, an update.
Today is my last day at Direct. It was supposed to be tomorrow but some of the management has been so dick to me since I'm leaving that I dont want to be here any more. If it wasnt for the desperate need of $$ I would have been gone last week. I'm going to lunch with some of my closer co-workers and then leaving. My manager is only going to take off 4 hours from my pay for the week instead of a day and a half so that's cool.
I start AIG on Monday and I'm excited! I'm going to have to go to Alpharetta Georgia for 2 weeks in a month or so for training. That should be interesting/cool. Yay for new job! Poop on Direct!!
As we speak my mom is at Lange Farm giving them the deposit to reserve the place for my wedding ceremony and reception on June 17. YAY! We went last Saturday and met with the event manager and the wedding coordinator/deorator guy. They are funny gay brothers. Anyway we talked about all kinds of stuffs and I am so happy we have decided to get married there. I called the church and cancelled but I dont know if we are getting our $100 back or not. It would be nice but if we dont then they can consider it a nice donation and we wont give any money for a little while.
My dress came in to Davids but we havnt gone to pick it up yet. I'm kinda putting off picking it up. One reason is that I put on a few pounds and I dont want to put the dress on and it be tight right now :-O because it will depress me so I'm working on getting rid of those couple pounds and then I'll go get it.
I just hung up with George the DJ.... he did Alina's wedding and I was so impressed with him and decided that I wanted him to DJ my wedding. My mom and I have a meeting with him next Tuesday night. He has done a few weddings out there at Lange Farm too so he's familiar with it. We're going to try to stick with vendors who have done weddings out there before, especially with photography and floral. There's one particular photographer that we will probably meet with who has beautiful sample pics on his website (and we saw albums he did at Lange Farm in the office there) and his prices are good and he has unlimited time. I really want unlimited time because I want the whole getting ready part to be photographed as well as the whole darn thing until we leave and I dont want to have to pay extra for overtime.
I'm so excited, my wedding is going to be sooooooo beautiful out there!!! YAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
Arlene, we need to go back to Davids and I need to bring at least 1 other person, my sister or Erica probably, to look at bridesmaid's dresses.... and you probably want to look more at wedding dresses!
Also-Arlene- my regular shift is going to be 10:30-7:30 in a month or so after I get settled and go to training in GA so we can go to karaoke again!!!!
