Huh. Turns out I've hurt my shoulder worse than I thought. Last night was painful. I was up practically all night, and then finally was able to get some sleep after having a hot shower at four o'clock. And then I had to get up for my eight-thirty class. After an indication like that, I went to athletic therapy to see if they could do anything. Luckily they had a space open, so I was able to get some treatment and a makeshift ice-pack in case it gets bad again. Plus some Robaxacet, mmm.
And no swimming until at least Tuesday. Er, not quite sure how I feel about that. On one hand- woo, lazy weekend! On the other hand... it's going to be that more intense when I get back and it'll be kind of hard to ease back into it. :/
Actually, I probably shouldn't be even typing a lot this weekend either, but we'll see how that goes. :P It doesn't hurt when I rig my keyboard to be on a slant, so I'll try that.
I'm off to spam people since I missed most entries this week. And then... I think I'll catch up on the Prison Break I've missed.
I have no idea what most people are talking about in the first episode. But! Seeing the second episode I didn't get the feeling that I was missing a lot, I think this worked just as well as a first episode.
I'm not going to go into specifics since most peopole haven't seen it yet (and I'm still downloading the first episode) but I will say this:
- I hated Bailey for practically all of the episode but the very last scene with her and Izzy- Grey's is pretty much the only tv show that makes me cry and this was a perfect example of it. Not melodramatic but just... *sniff*
- Oh Alex, don't ever change. *cackles*
- Cristina and Burke... problems ahead but they're still my favourite couple.
- Jealous!George is not really sexy, but he is cute. And I like Callie.
- Bored by Meredith/Derek/McVet for most of the episode but I thought their last scene was cute. Lucky Meredith and hee! competitive boys.
- Addison as a drunk was... eh, it was okay. I felt bad for her but the last scene in the hotel room with Derek? There were about fifteen people watching it in the common room with me and we all erupted into cheers when McSteamy walked out of the shower. Yes! Now this will be interesting. And yeah, it was only girls who were watching. ;)
I'm so glad it's back on. And I'm so glad I live in Canada. I can have the best of both worlds- watch Grey's at 8 and then Supernatural at 9.
