About Mikitty
According to her Wikipedia page and blog entries (both in Japanese btw so I had to use the ol' google-translator ^^;) Kanai Miki won the 2007 "Ciao Girl Auditions" and was rewarded the Grand Prix, jump-starting her debut to the showbiz world.
These are the actual photos she sent with her application xD
Mikitty getting through eliminations and becoming one of the 5 finalist..
Though her main occupation is modeling (both on runway and in CMs), she also showed great potential in acting. She acted as the youngest sister to Oomasa Aya, Mano Erina and Okamoto Anri in her first drama, Pocky 4 Sisters (2008) and later with her agency sempai, Kamiki Ryunosuke in 11nin mo iru! (2011)

"Pocky 4 Sisters" consists of four episodes, lasting 30 mins each..

Mikitty as the 3rd child, Sanada Mitsuko, to a brood of 8 siblings xD
Of course those are not the only acting gigs she got, I only posted the two dramas that (in my opinion) were the most notable. (^ - ^)y I'm still waiting for her big acting break!
