Wow Ive been a busy bee the last 4 days.
Sunday
I was finishing off a week of bad days at work and too many sleep ins. I got through Sunday and managed to do the mountain of things I had been left to do over the weekend. e.g buy a bed and some clothes for my key client. Buying stuff is one of my least favourite jobs as I never seem to be given much time to buy the perfect item and get very stressed indeed.
I finally escaped and went home and tarted up.
Sheen and Henrick picked me up at 4 and we went up to Nottingham Ice arena. Was really really nice to see Mad Clare and Steve who seemed pleased to see me and we had a laugh talking about my Malteser sucking party ill have next year!
We saw the support band! Joan Jett and the Blackhearts who sang " I lurve Rock and roll" But i loved her whole set. Very up beat and fun.
Alice Cooper came on around nine. He can really move for a 60 year old. The first thing he did was kill his look alike with a sword!. He chucked plastic diamonds into the crowd as well as the cane he had been poking his gutarists with. There was a woman in a brides dress dancing and he staked a baby through the heart! He then got hung on a massive gallows! Was really good to watch and I wasnt worried that I didnt know any of the songs! Was so good! The 3 man drum solo was really great and then the drum solo with flashy lights made my head go a bit swirly!
He can back on again to do Schools out and chucked some huge balloons out into the crowd that popped and tipped glitter over everyone!!
When he played poison I screamed my head off and danced like a loon.
It was soooo loud I couldnt hear a thing when we were on the way home!! Thankyou Sheen for the ticket.
On monday I got my catalogue delivery so was happee. I got some beautiful new hair straighteners and a Helicopter thrill ride!! Just felt like a few treats for a difficult time.
After that I went to buy paint with Mum! We got a pot of Apple and a pot of peas. And I was surprised that she didnt complain that I wanted the glittery top coat!! I went to Lizzies/Mine and we did one coat straight away.
On Tuesday I bought all the right equipment and we did the whole room once. Thouroughly enjoyed our DIY while the boys cooked and did ironing downstairs!! It was so fun and looks how I imagined it would. Very happy with the room now. Im also pleased that I seem to be getting on well with Jeffs bro Trevor who lives there and his girlfriend, who seems to be a happy goth and very cool! I think I will enjoy it there as its always so busy and vibrant.
Today I had to do restraint training. Cant say it was the most fun Ive had. But its done now and I get a certificate!
