Bruce did a press conference -- his first in, apparently, twenty-two years -- as part of his halftime show thing, and the NFL put it online, and guys, ugh, SHUT YOUR STUPID MOUTHS, BAND. ♥___♥
Highlights: the "LOL WTF IS WRONG WITH HIM, WE DON'T KNOW" faces on the entire fucking band when Bruce goes off on his rambling story about how they plan to capture the ~energy~ of a normal show in a twelve-minute performance; Bruce claiming Nils' microphone doesn't work because he told them "only the Boss gets a working mic"; the question of how they pick songs being answered with "I'M THE BOSS, THE BOSS GETS TO DECIDE! :D" Also, Patti giving Steve her microphone charms me all out of proportion to what it should. Possibly that is because if I were forced to choose, they would probably be my two favorite members of the band (if only because they were nice to me when I had panic attacks at shows).
I think possibly what made me :D the most (which is saying something) was the news that PATTI'S WORKING ON A DREAM NEW ALBUM :D :D :D :D :D I love her so much, you guys. I realize that she's a) straight, b) married, and c) way too old for me, but I CAN DREAM.Reporter: Patti, I understand you're working on something special?

Yesterday my mom asked me if I knew that Steen was coming to DC. Possibly I'll buy her a ticket as a Mother's Day gift, or a birthday one, since her birthday's in late May.
...I got nothing. I feel that my decision to watch Puppy Bowl, except for the halftime show, is a totally valid one.
