i.
I, uh, might have caved and shelled out the $3 for the video/remix/live version on iTunes. The "Winter Mix" is actually really good -- much cleaner than the album mix. And I'm totes going to make icons from the video.
But I kind of love this, honestly. It's way more enjoyable than the "Radio Nowhere" video, which was all grim and everyone looking >:( and even the stock city clips were all depressing looking. This, meanwhile, is cheesy poppy fun, which I'm totally on board with.
ii. I have to call my sister, because it's her birthday today! OH GOD SHE IS TWENTY-ONE. OH GOD. I have to do it relatively early, too, because she's going down to San Diego to drink herself stupid with friends. Which, fair enough.
iii. It's probably just as well that bandombigbang is restricted to certain bands, because otherwise I'd need someone to talk me down from signing up for it, but nonetheless. :( It would mostly be gen, but I don't want to mess around with "how much can Greta interact with Patti before it breaks the rule about how other, lesser characters can't be in the foreground". (I am trying very hard not to get overly sarcastic when I say "lesser". FYI.)
iv. I sort of want to write a 30 Rock fic where they're going to have Patti Scialfa as the musical guest, and Bruce manages to get himself locked in a utility closet or something, and first everyone thinks he's refusing to come out so they borrow Max from Conan to talk him out. Then Max and Patti figure out that no, he's managed to get himself stuck, and Max is just like "Yeah, he'll do that."
v. I'm re-watching some Buffy for the first time in ages and oh, Buffy. I'm on "Passion" at the moment. Good thing about this episode: brilliant; also, Jonathan's first appearance! :D Bad thing about this episode: EVERYTHING OH GOD ;_________;
vi. Oh, Buffy. On that note, the Buffy/John McClane I wrote for the porn battle seems to be going over really, really well. I don't even know. I also wrote Buffy/RayK/Fraser sex pollen fic, but I'm trying to punch that into an actual story and not just the one scene.
vii. I really, really want to do either a Buffy/Giles vid to "For You" or a vid about the girls of BtVS to GiTSC. Someone needs to talk me down from this.
