Yes, indeed, gawgius and sunny out there and I've been a bit productive - again.
That said, yesterday, was even more so as I consolidated my computer parts into one box, a box I dug out of my storage locker as I went in there while waiting for the last of the laundry to dry, thinking I I might need to clean out and get rid of stuff (nope) but a peek inside of a cardboard box labeled computer parts had me pulling it as it had very little in it, and I have stuff up here in the bedroom that should go in it.
Brought the box up and began to go through a storage container from IKEA that had other items to move to the larger box, I was reminded that I have parts to the eVGA motherboard that I didn't install initially, and whaddaya know there is an expansion plate for 2 more USB ports, and a Fire wire port! Yes! I'd forgotten I had it as there is no FW port on the board itself. I also noted the SLI bridge to connect up another graphics card for TWO graphics cards if I want, along with a riser bridge with SATA connectors, and of course, IDE/PATA to SATA adapters and such as well. Now they are all in the same box. This went on while the dryer, which I stopped too early and had emptied of stuff fully dry, and left the few items still needed to finish drying in to do so, this time from medium to high heat. I went back down after doing the box and retrieved the laundry.
I finished up a blog post that I was working for a good much of Saturday, finally realizing that to help things was to gather the photos to use, and then write it up. It was posted yesterday morning and have another post, totally rewritten, with photos to put up today at some point by doing much the same thing. The reason is, with photos, it helps to clarify my thoughts as I write, and to drive home points I wanted to make. The photos I used for yesterday's post came from to older house tours from Apartment Therapy, one from 2007, the other from 2009, both I saw when they were first posted so that tells you how far back I go with that site. Today's post is about why one should consider their lighting design and showed examples of it through my camera's lens, and grabbing a photo of a dimly lit landing from another blog I read to use as an example.
So far this morning was to rewrite what I had already written, take some photos, have breakfast, and put away the clean dishes from yesterday.
Next up is to get in the shower and go do exploratory research on West Seattle proper itself, namely in and around the Junction business district as I have the whole week off. My refund is scheduled to be mailed on Friday so I can now move forward on that and hope I can find something SOON.
So that is the lay of the land, and I can now get into Mint credit monitoring, and my score did drop, but still good at 689 currently. I'm sure once I pay down a significant portion of the credit card, that'll help. Plus, I need to toss $25 on the card NOW anyway.
Got paid on Friday, but $300 of it went to pay the last bit of the rent, and the $50 late fee, so much for that. :-(
With that, time I get on with things by putting away the clean clothes from yesterday and then hop into the shower and head off to W. Seattle for the afternoon.
