My day, let me tell you about it
This morning I was looking at the Weather Channel and it said we'd clear out and hit 64F, well, we never did clear out and only hit 62, and the day was mostly damp. Oh the fog lifted once I was on my way into Bellevue but that was the only "clearing" we got though.
My first day back at work was busy as we had rent checks to deal with and there were other issues as well, with most of them being us being left in the dark in so far as moves go within our client. Also, we lost another employee to the client. Shane now works in legal for the client, and Adam just made the move today to the client side, thus both now make MORE than they did with us.
So our site manager is now covering until they can get a replacement but with how that's been done in the past, it may take a while. Out company is really just a big ol' clusterfuck on the local leve especially, and our integrated account manager is I think largely the linchpin in all this clusterfuckery. Needless to say, I'm not amused.
Overall, my work itself went fine, just busy, and got a paper inventory and order in so hopefully we'll have paper tomorrow.
Also, we ran out of funds and my boss thought the check would have cleared Pitney Blows, but hadn't as of late this afternoon. So had to send off to PSI, our mail currier the last 2 tubs of rent checks to process at presort first class postal rate so they can get post marked today.
Stopped at the store for some of the Big K soft drinks in the 24 can case for lunches and came on home.
So that's my Monday for ya.
