Monday and work resumes, again
Yep, vacation is over until I can set up fresh ones for the next fiscal year, but can't do that until April, if I decide to do so, at least use up the floating holidays in any event.
Still no access to the website, but it takes 24 hours for the two entities to propagate the DNS servers. Essentially, I left my domain at A2Hosting, and have pointed it to Go Daddy with the servers that Go Daddy has my site. I could have used a temporary domain until mine transfers, but oh well. Since I did it late yesterday, I may not be able to access it until AFTER I get home from work.
Tentatively, the blog will be called, Small haus, big City, pending on whether the house buying takes off, which I should hear on today so wish me luck on that!
The main thing today is to hear back from Met Life on my whole life insurance, and it can be used, great, then hear from Cristie at Guild Mortgage on the loan(s), and if both are a go, then it's line up a realtor and begin searching.
The ideal place I think will be roughly 1000SqFt, small rambler, with 2 or 3 bedrooms that's dated, but in good shape overall where a little cleaning and paint inside will get it liveable to begin with.
I think it can be done, based on my loose search over the weekend.
So needless to say, I'm on pins and needles, awaiting further word.
However, it is supposed to be a WET week ahead, well, at least through Thursday, temps largely in the low to mid 50's, then dry, but cloudy Friday and Saturday before the rains return, Sunday, staying in the low 50's however.
Not bad, it IS March however so the weather can be quite iffy through the period.
