Spent a moment writing out what I hope to accomplish today on a yellow legal pad and a pen.

home pricing, anything under 110K, 700-1KSqFt in size in Seattle
I did take a brief look at the Washington State Housing Financing Commission website and there is a program for residences of Seattle so may give them a call first hand since I want to stay in Seattle if at all possible. The one thing there is, the loan payments are deferred at a simple 3% interest, though I would rather just pay it off, but it gives me the option, if I read that right. The hitch is, I'm 49, and won't want to have that hanging over me after I'm past the retirement age if I can help it.
Anyway, next up is clean up the kitchen, and then get a shower and dressed for the day and then buckle down with the above tasks. I blew away yesterday, but part of that was justified when I heard about the Explidit being discontinued and was glad I went ahead and bout the unit I needed. I did a brief check with my old, dead DVD recorder, and yes, it'll do just nicely with the new section assembled and put in place to house my AV gear and mount the TV just above it all in a new place, and hopefully it's up against a wall, even if I have to build one.
So, next up, the kitchen. Got my cookies baked off last night, and they did more or less the same thing, oily on the bottom, and a bit thin, even though I cut back a touch on the butter, and added a bit more flour (ensuring I had the right amount this time).
Anyway, time's awasten so must get to it!
