Working on questions for HUD

Aug 12, 2013 21:39

Yes, after I did a butt load of dishes, and got the kitchen wiped down, and the floor swept. Normally I don't get the floor at all, but tonight, I did, with the hand broom and dustpan, so no crumbs all over the floor for a change.

They are stacked and drying as I type.

And now, I'm forming the questions to ask a HUD counselor in Word, and will need to do a quick and dirty research on rents, especially here on the hill, and in various neighborhoods, I'd even contemplate living in, like Wallingford, Fremont, Ballard etc as they may be less, but maybe not as less as where I'm at currently. I know just about everywhere, there will be pockets of really cheap rent, but it's not gonna be a likely thing to find available as they tend to go quickly.

So by Wednesday, I should be able to call and inquire about which is my best option, to buy, or continue to rent.

And in other news, discovered this evening that the dimmer switch to my dining room light is broken. Oh, it turns on and off, but it won't dim anymore though. :-( Fortuantely, they are inexpensive, and easily changed out. The dimmer was already in the place when I moved in.

Dinner tonight was leftovers from last night, with a tomato sliced and with lemon infused mayo as a dressing, and all of it was delish.

And soon, it'll be bedtime!
