Welcome to hump day!

Yes, it's Wednesday already, then it's the backslide into the weekend.

This Sunday is cookie baking at my oldest sister's place in Enumclaw, which is out in the foothills of the Cascades.

Managed to wash a mountain of dishes last night and they are put away this morning.

I need to call Miracle Ear and reschedule my appointment for the week of the 17th, no problem, just need to set a date for the following week.

Work continues along OK as we figure out the delivery system for Leasing and JLL for the long haul. Right now, I'm putting stuff in a bucket that is mail not addressed to anyone in particular in JLL, or don't have a maiilbox and it'll get sorted out by someone in that department.

The other thing is all signed packages get taken to the admin for JLL and she signs for all of it, though by next week, that'll change.

Meant to go through files on Mom's computer and get rid of the dupes of the ones I've been eliminating from her machine, even had it on, but never did anything with it, other than enjoy what heat it generated, just being on.

When both PC's are running, the room gets reasonably warm.

Other than that, not too much took place last evening, though I did work on a profile update in Word.

Rained hard at times last evening as at one point, rain blew in on my balcony, getting the glass slider, and hitting the north windows. The slider faces mostly westward and has an overhang that's as big as my balcony so usually, it stays dry, outside of an inch or so around the outer edges, but occasionally, windy conditions can blow the rain all the way to the exterior walls, thus the slider that looks out on it.

The forecast is saying the heavy rains of the past week or so are expected to subside and we'll be in and out of showers/light rain throughout the next 10 days. The ground is quite saturated so anywhere, where there are steep bluffs (the coast), or steep hillsides, such as parts of Capitol Hill north of me, areas of Queen Anne Hill and parts of Magnolia Bluff and other steep areas in and around Puget Sound are vulnerable to mudslides.

Gotta watch my rent check and hope they don't try to deposit it tomorrow, but wait and do it Friday, which is my guess is they always wait until after the 5th to make the deposits.

Checked my tracking for my ink, it's left Reno this morning early so I'm thinking it may well arrive by Friday. Would be nice to be able to print, but to be safe, I'll transfer the recipe for the brown edged lemon wafers to my thumbdrive and print that up at work, perhaps tomorrow.

Last night's dinner was leftovers so nothing exciting, really.

And with that, time I fix lunch and get myself out the door. Tonight I will work on portfolio project, I hope. I'm feeling rather project-y this morning, but that aint happening because I gotta work. :-(

Oh well, it's life, and it's how I make a living these days, such as it is.

Hope you all have a good Hump Day!
