Happy (early) New Year!
It's 6:23AM and I'm up, why? Could not really sleep from roughly 5AM on, I just tossed and turned and then around 5:30 or so, a bit of heart burn kicked in, making it difficult to stay horizontal w/out discomfort, and that's even after taking some Tums.
Finally, just decided to get up and get dressed. Right now I'm in black leather pants, commando, my royal blue turtleneck, my plum colored sweater I got for Christmas and my brown leather blazer that I can't even button, the top button has come off, threads gave way.
It's damp but not raining at the moment as it was quite wet last evening as forecasted.
Today my main thing is get a fresh pot of Hoppin' John going and just spend the day relaxing, perhaps nap some too and do a little cleaning, namely in the bedroom. I think the clutter in here is not helping my sleep and it is of no help that I have the computer in here, not ideal but that's the way it is, in other words be rather low key I think.
I may do a little online prowling as I can and see if there is anyone worth meeting up for coffee or something simple for a bit later in the day, someone that can be initially a friend and if it becomes more than, fine.
Right now I'm in one of those moods this morning where just laying, feeling and getting to know someone on a low key level is just fine by me. Being that it's New Years Day, a perfect day to do just that, don't you think?
This mood is what prompted me to wear what I'm wearing and I may swap turtle neck and sweater for a shirt and tie, we'll see.
Anyway, hope you all that did celebrate last night had a good time and hopefully are not nursing hangovers this morning.
