A quiet morning...
This morning so far. It's gray and dreary outside and is supposed to rain some today.
This morning it's see what I need in the way of food stuffs like cheese etc. I know I need coffee and Saturdays are a great time to hit Costco, despite the business since I have the time and the energy to tackle the task. I also need to take down several bags of garbage to the dumpster. It's a treck down 2-3 flights of stairs in the building to the back door, then down two long and narrow stairs to the courtyard area where the dumpsters are kept, just to take out the trash. Ugh. I might measure out and get 2 bins to fit under the audio components in the living room to further tidy that up a bit and to keep all the games corralled and such. Plus, it'll increase storage too.
Last night I discovered that when I went to record the vinyl tracks to the third Freeform tape series, I had not set the line in correctly so I didn't record the tracks, but the VCR audio instead. What I do when recording to DVD is have the VCR's video pipped into the DVD recorder while I record the audio from the table via the line 1 input, which makes the DVD audio decriptor ripping program happy later on and that's how I get the vinyl tracks onto the HD.
I also need to go through all photos on my computer and delete all dupes, which will most likely mean deleting the photos in the photo organizer within Photoshop since I end up saving them in my photos in My Documents anyway. Since the Mavica records to CD, I don't need to leave the TIFF images on the HD forever as since I do audio stuff and video, space right now is at a premium since the largest drive I have is 120GB.
In any event, time I go eat breakfast, peel off the leather goods and take a shower so I can get going on the day.
