(no subject)
I'm back from Spain! A great trip, a great experience! I learned so much! and oh my God, I loved Paris! I think I both realize and don't realize how lucky I am to be having all these experiences. I have to stop myself every now and then and remember to be more grateful.
I'll post pics on facebook soon! Just the good, fun ones. Cause honestly the majority is just random stuff and scenery...albeit beautiful scenery!
Man, I update this thing so rarely I don't even know where to start. One recent , well reoccuring thought that I've been having is that i need more friend time in my life. Right now, I split my time between Auburn, my family, and Nick. and while I love and appreciate all of the above, I can definitely tell something's missing. But I guess it's just that point in life where I have other things going on.
Anyways, in other news, my great Uncle Sam died. heart attack in the middle of the night. They say Aunt Margo (his wife) found him. They live in Hawaii with my other great Uncle Charles who needs looking after. But Aunt Margo, luckily has friends there to help here, and they should be sending the body back to CA (their hometown) soon. They decided to cremate him, and the service will be on the 14th or 15th. I have to work at the weekend session that weekend and I sure Dr. B would hunt down my ass if I tried to go. (just joking...partially) So, that's that. The thing is, like everyone else in my family, Uncle Sam had high blood pressure, but from what I've heard, he wasn't taking medications. I just don't get it. Why do people do stuff like that? I take anti-anxiety stuff every night, and I HATE IT, but I take it. All that doesn't matter now anyways. Rest in Peace Uncle Sam.
In most recent news, i am currently in NC with Nick having a great time! needless to say, we worked things out. I'm so glad we're still able and willing to do that. I love him. :) Just trying to enjoy a little bit of free time, before the craziness that is fall semester ensues.
