I have only just now been told about the "track changes" in Microsoft Word.
Which means that so many of my betaing woes could have been alleviated so much more easily.
Those of you that use Word or the equivalent, how do you feel about the "track changes" function? Do you think it would be easier than just highlighting things in red or just adding comments or any combination of that?
My life has literally just been changed. Also I feel like an idiot for having have had this pointed out to me by my roommate when I'm an English major who spends a considerable chunk of her life editing things. No big deal, no big deal. It's not even like I'd never seen it before--just last week a friend sent me back a paper with that exact same format but I was so terribly confused that I didn't really comprehend it and shunned it as some new foreign technology that only Macs have.
Macs, now, are a whole new world that I cannot even begin to understand.
Um, I never post on here any more ever because of Tumblr. And for that, I apologize.
Peace out.
