"I heard you the first time!" Molly yelled as she was filling up cups full of water. She had finally started to relax from her previous job when the kids came rushing in from outside, eager for water simply because it was there. Molly couldn't fill cups fast enough and the kids wouldn't stop screeching for it. Sixty kids as a matter of fact.

Molly Connolly worked at an after-school day care and it was that crucial time when the after-care job and her summer job collided. It was mid-June, which meant the Bed and Breakfast that she worked at would finally get some business.

She had just spent all day cleaning the rooms at the Brick Inn when she realized she was almost late for her other job. "Bob! I gotta go! See you tomorrow!" she called upstairs to her boss as she flung the door open. The thought of cleaning the same rooms the next day was daunting to her. Granted, she loved her job and got to leave when she was done cleaning, practically allowing her to make up her own hours, but she didn't want to go babysit the kiddies after cleaning all day. She suddenly knew how moms felt.

The drive to job number 2 was a blur of people who couldn't drive and nothing good on the radio and it put Molly in a bad mood. "Um, you ok?" Eve asked. Eve was Molly's younger sister who worked at the after care program, too. She was skinnier than Molly, model-like in posture. Eve hit the genetic jackpot. Her face was lively, always. Her skin was perfect. Her personality was charming. The boys were crazy for her, but Molly feared that she fell in love too easily. Her latest flavor of the week was Josh, a guy she met while walking Piggy, their adorable, giant Newfoundland. Apparently, Piggy liked the dog Josh was walking. It bothered Molly that the dog wasn't even his. He admitted that he borrowed the dog from a friend as a chick magnet". Well done Josh.
"No. Yes! Sorry. Ok. Just, tired."Molly was mumbling.

Eve was right, Molly thought. I am out of it. Maybe because its a gorgeous day out and I'm stuck in the stale air conditioned cafeteria with screaming kids. "Stop running Jamie!", the sight of the 4 year old chasing someone with scissors interrupted her thoughts. Great, now I'm the one that's screaming.

After her long day watching kids for parents who "work", Molly was ready for a nap. She looked at the clock. Fuck.7 o clock. Too late for a nap, too early to go to bed. I guess I'll have to settle for Spongebob, she said to herself sarcastically. Nothing relaxes her more than watching Spongebob be dumb and Patrick be dumber.
