Introducing: 10 second music reviews
So I've taken to digesting massive amounts of music lately...just pirating all of the latest albums that are being buzzed about wherever and seeing if I like them. I will pay the bands back by going to a show or two if I find something I really like. And anything I really hate or even stuff I find mediocre does not stay on my hard drive for very long anyway.
This is mostly for my own records, but I'll be posting notes in the journal on everything I've listened to so far, and more albums as I get them. The focus here is on brevity and purely surface impressions. If this helps anyone find some decent music then w00t I did a public service. I'm putting a happy face next to albums I really love and little emoticon penis next to albums I really hate. That will be my scoring system until I find a better one...
