A rundown of my day
The time change is still messing with me. It felt extremely early when my alarm went off for work this a.m. Only had one surgery show up so I was done with work by 10:30!! Made a much needed run to Target, home for lunch and then to the gym (go me! especially since I am feeling quite chunky). Indulged myself with a hot stone massage this afternoon. Haven't had one of those in forever and decided, despite my current state of chunkiness, that I deserved another massage in 6 weeks.
All in all, a pretty great day. Of course, this evening as I was surfing the web, I came across something that reminded me of a person from my past. You know how that happens occasionally. You're not expecting it and something hits you... brings you back in time and takes your breath away.... yeah, it was a reminder of a not-so-great time.
I'm trying not to dwell though... instead enjoyed a great episode of Glee (don't laugh, I love the show despite the problems with it) and now I have What Not to Wear and tennis to watch!!
