Death Racer
Recently a couple racing movies dropped into my mailbox from Netflix, Speed Racer and Death Race. I'm going to give a description and you try to tell what movie it is:
In the not too distant future, greedy corporations run a series of races to entertain the masses to distract them from what the corporations are up too. In these races, the cars are rigged with weapons and tricks in order to destroy the other racers. After one of the family members of the Hero is killed by the corporations, the Hero gets behind the wheel to take the bad guys down.

Even in the shiny world that Speed Racer is shot in, there are very dark undertones. I have to say that I enjoyed them both, but the first 10 minutes of Speed Racers were pretty epic and I think everyone should see them. I just thought it was interesting how similar the two movies were but were shot completely different.
