I wonder

I wonder why now when I watch America's Funniest Home Videos I think, "This is not funny. That kid could have seriously hurt himself." and often wince at the sight of whatever "funny" video is shown at that moment. (yeah, I should wonder why I'm watching AFV....but that's not the point of this post) Is it that I'm old? Is it that I've kissed too many injuries? What? I just find myself thinking, "Whew!! Glad you're okay!" after each video clip. It reminds me of that Alanis Morrisette song. "Ironic"? I used to think, "WTF is ironic about this? This song should be called "doesn't it suck"! Only back when that song came out I would have laughed at these videos.
