tonight zoe and i went to the waffle house so i could start my 3 times a week study in a key aspect of american culture. i am obsessed with sketching everyone and everything in sight. mostly people. there's so much there to appreciate. i was sketching this boy with a cigarette in his hand and he knew it. it's funny how people act when they know someone is drawing them. they get all rigid and try to hold their breath or they move around a lot in an attempt to find their most attractive position. i had the boy write a little blurb about why he comes to waffle house and the dork jotted his name and phone number at the bottom. i think 9 more weeks of this is gonna leave me with a lot of random phone numbers.
