there will not be anything spectacular about this update. it will be quite run-o-tha-mill as far as updates go.
surprisingly, there is a screaming child outside my room. it's hard to imagine why there would be a screaming child in the hallway of the first floor of a random hotel in albemarle at 1:20 in the afternoon, but there is.
reason for locale: the angel now lives here for reasons supplied by the government by which said angel is now owned. your tax money at work. so, i am more or less living here too until monday when i move into ballfield d, a room with a view.
i haven't even moved onto the campus of my latest attempt at college and i already have a lunch date with the director of the environmental leadership center. you may be asking yourself why i am suddenly interested in such politically oversexed dogma as environmentalism. well, i'm not. not yet, atleast. actually, my grandparents are responsible for setting me up on this blind date, such as it is, with this professor who is such a "dear, dear friend" to them. and i imagine he has heard all about me from my mother and by that i mean that she has undoubtedly recounted to him the struggles of my earlier college career and asked for his guidance and watchful eye in dealing with such a troubled youth. blah blah blah. i'll take special care to overturn every notion he has of me.
and i have to add that my roommate-to-be is from maine, her name is zoe, and she has already informed me via e-mail that, amongst other things, she is bringing a turntable. no need for me to bring mine (ha). i love her already. she has no choice but to be stupendous.
additionally, tonight is the blues traveler show which i have longed for with every fiber of my being for nigh on 5 years. and john popper will know that he is my hero, personal inspiration, and role model. oh yes.
this update will self-destruct in 5 seconds.
