Knit-iversary Part II

Nov 09, 2010 19:07

So I have been thinking a lot about my knitting today and I have come to the conclusion that I am very proud of how far I have come. Not only am I attempting projects that would have intimidated the hell out of myself 4 years ago but many of those projects are ones I have designed or personalized in some way or another. Some projects I have adored (The Harper's Daughter Blanket, the Cottage in the Woods blanket, the Butterfly Amoung the Leaves Scarf to name a few) and some have driving me beyond insane (*glares at the Intarsia Wall Hanging / Pillow Project of DOOM*). I was even evaluated as a suicide risk at a hospital once when a scarf went badly (in my defense, I was in the ER for something other than traumatic knitting). I have been overly ambitious a time or two (especially at Christmas time) and caused myself a bit of stress. But throughout it all, my love affair with knitting continues strong.

To celebrate my 4 year anniversary, I have put together a slideshow of some of the highlights of my years with yarn. Hope you like it.
