Red House Painters
Oh yes, I went to see Mark Kozelek the other week, along with Nathan, Alan and El. He only played for an hour but was absolutely fantastic. The gig was a 4AD thing, so he mainly played Red House Painters stuff, and even got the RHP guitarist Phil Carney to play with him on some of the songs.
By far the best bit was when one of our party had to rush to the loo during a song, because he was crying too much! Ace! I can't say who it was but I'm sure most people who know him can guess.
