Man I love this song, especially acoustic...since when I saw Marillion live a couple of years ago it was an acoustic show. Well, it wasn't the whole band actually, just 3 of them. It's hard getting these guys to the US, I mean, the US fan base actually raised money for them to tour the here when they launched their own record label lol.
The melody and vocal performance on the chorus just knocks my socks off.
Then there's the original music video from 17 years ago that is oddly disconcerting to watch with H (aka Steve Hogarth) constantly in your face staring at you with piercing eyes and dripping wet hair making odd suggestive gestures at you and I'm not sure whether to be frightened or turned on.
Speaking of H, I finally found a youtube clip of one of my favorite Sesame Street bits ever...When Bert's TV malfunctions by flashing the letter H and Ernie figures out why! Ah, the days when Sesame Street was actually kind of clever.
Meh, I'm posting a lot of random crap lately, I guess that's what happens when you're a little on-edge and can't sleep.
