About 10 minutes ago, I went outside to my car to retrieve my registration, in order to photocopy it for my parking permit for the fall. I discovered that the writing on the permit (ie. the important thing about it) had been melded by the extreme heat of recent days to the plastic cover of my driver's manual, effectively rendering the registration as a nearly blank sheet of plastic-like paper.
Joy.
Update: I was able to order a new copy of the registration online for a nominal $3.
I am still annoyed.
