Author's Note: Okay so first off this is my first Guiding Light fic so do keep that in mind while reading this. Also keep in mind that this was written just as a bit of stress relief after a hard day at work and I can already tell you that there will probalby be some OOC moments. With that in mind i just hope you do enjoy the story. Oh and it's un-betaed so all mistakes are my own.
The song is 'Why Don't You Do Right?' I was watching Who Framed Rodger Rabbit? when this came into my head and just wouldn't leave.

Olivia sat back in the seat, adjusting the fedora upon her head as her eyes scanned the darkened room. She noticed people glancing her way, gazes lingering on her outfit. There were many who looked up her with surprise and a little bit of disgust, but those whose gazes lingered for an entirely different kind of interest were the ones that had the woman smiling inwardly. She was a beautiful woman, and knew it. And she knew that she could dress up in dresses cut just so, with necklines plunging just down to there that would turn many a head.

But there was occasionally where she liked to shake things up and dress like the men that frequented the club. Dressed in a black button down shirt, sleeves rolled up past her elbows, white suspenders strapped over her shoulders and attached to black pin stripe slacks Olivia knew she cut a striking figure. With her black fedora pulled jauntily over emerald green eyes she caught quite a bit of attention. Winking at a beautiful woman across from her, and then chuckling at the shocked expression that earned her, Olivia sipped at the wine as the lights darkened. Olivia watched as guys began to get closer to the stage. She glared at a guy that tried to nudge her away from her spot. She was near the end of the long runway, a perfect spot to watch any of the acts.

Olivia sat up straighter as a beautiful voice came through the air.

"You had plenty money, 1922. You let other women make a fool out of you." From between the curtains a bare leg appeared followed by a woman so beautiful Olivia momentarily forgot to breath. When her head began to swim Olivia gave herself a mental slap, but that didn't deter her from staring at the beautiful performer that began to sashay across the stage, flirting playful with the men as she sang. Her face was the picture of innocence, but her voice was seductive and sultry, a combination that had Olivia throwing back a long slug of her wine as lower areas of her anatomy began to throb in time to the thrum of the music.

"You okay there, Liv?" A voice chuckled from beside her, startling the woman.

"Buzz, shit don't do that," Olivia hissed, slapping a hand to her chest.

"Sorry," But the bartender looked anything but. "She's somethin' ain't she?" The older man asked, nodding to the dark haired vision that had began to move towards the end of the stage, dark eyes sparkling under the lights.

"Who is she?"

"New girl that we just hired. Her name's Natalia Rivera. Sweetest girl you'd ever meet. But when she sings?" The man let out a low whistle, not really finishing his statement, but he didn't need to. Olivia understood and agreed one hundred percent. Green eyes were riveted to the curvaceous body hugged by a sinfully red dress and dark eyes that were now locked onto her own. The woman leaned back slightly, mouth unknowingly hanging open as Natalia walked down the short steps and began to move towards her, hips swinging slowly and lips forming each word to drip with seduction.

'Holy Jesus.' Olivia sputtered silently as Natalia neared.

"Get out of here," The woman sang while sitting herself snugly on Olivia's lap, causing the woman to tense. Blood thundered in Olivia's ears and she wondered if her heart was about to give. She felt herself beginning to lean forward, closing the gap towards the full lips in front of her. She was so close, could smell Natalia's perfume and felt herself grow wet. "And get me some money too." All of a sudden Natalia pulled Olivia's fedora down in front of her face, stopping her quickly. Olivia thumped back in her chair while scrambling momentarily with the hat, disconcerted with it meeting her instead of those tempting lips. Freeing it from her face she ignored Buzz's look of amusement to watch as Natalia walked around to the other side of the long table and sit upon the stage, long legs crossing, revealing bare skin all the way to her hip. "Why don't you do right," She turned and leaned forward towards Olivia, her hand reaching forward to place a finger beneath Olivia's chin and pulling her forward. "Like some other men do." Olivia could hear groans of jealousy, their lips so close Natalia's lips brushed her when she sang the final note of the song. Natalia pulled away, leaving Olivia to watch helplessly as she turned and walked back towards the curtain, the song ended in a call of wolf whistles and claps.

"You okay there, Liv?" Buzz asked his friend again, barely able to contain a laugh as he watched her thump back into her seat, green eyes so wide he could nearly see the whites all around.

"Uh," Was all she managed to get out. Buzz wasn't able to contain his mirth any more and threw his head back. The sound finally pulled Olivia from her stupor and she turned ot glare at the man.

"Oh shut up. Like I'm the only one drooling…I mean staring." She discretely wiped at her mouth, glad when she didn’t find any moisture.

"Oh I know you're not. I think though that this is the first time I've seen Ms. Olivia 'freakin' Spencer go all wide eyed at anyone. It's quite a funny sight."

"I'm glad I can amuse you," Olivia grumbled, her eyes drifting back towards the stage in the small hope that Natalia would come back out.

"Would you like to meet her?" Buzz asked.

"Huh?"

"Eloquent. I asked if you wanted to meet her. She's good friends with Marina."

"Um sure, I'd love to tell her how good of a singer she is."

"I'm sure you would," Buzz mumbled, studiously ignoring the death glare being thrown his way. He'd learned over the years never to look Olivia Spencer directly in the eye when she was pissed and you may actually survive. Kinda like with a bull or Medusa.

Olivia's eyes narrowed at the older man busted out laughing again. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing," Buzz managed between snorts, trying desperately to erase the image of Olivia with snakes for hair and a huge bull ring through her nose to no avail. "Let's go see Natalia."
