Lisa rarely planned her escapes. Every so often she would get an itching for something new; for a vacation- and when that happened, a breakout usually wasn't far behind. This time, however, it had been completely spontaneous- she and Hakuba had talked, decided to meet, and she left through the tunnels as soon as it got dark enough

Hakuba was never going to be used to Elphaba's broom. he was sure of it. It was really useful as a world hopper, but to difficult to deal with.

“Get down.” Hakuba said, as he tilted the broom downwards. The good thing was that since the broom was magic by itself, people without any magic skills could use it; the bad thing was that the broom has a life on its own and a temper. “Get Down. Now.” He repeated, more firmly this time. The broom moved suddenly, but Hakuba managed to make it back down to the ground without killing himself in the process. He looked at the bar, it wasn't necessary to be a detective to guess where was Lisa.

He got some strange gazes from the other customers when they noticed the broom, but he payed no attention to them as he approached the woman.

((OOC: AGh! Sorry! I didn't noticed the RL! D: Since Elphaba is the only character I have that can worldhopp she left her broom to Hakuba. He has a really low toleration to alcohol, he just get drunk once and promised not to do it again. Feel free to change that ^_~))

"Hey man, pull up a chair," Lisa called, probably a little louder than was necessary.

She would need to think up a good nickname for this guy.

OOC: ... Weird, I thought I had responded to this. Sorry!

"Always so charming, miss Lisa." Hakuba grinned, and sat next to her. "You didn't started a fight while waiting for me. I'm a bit disappointed."

OOC: .no problem! And LJ is doing strange thing to the icons again instead of lisa I can see Jack from the tvshow lost O.o

"Didn't have a reason to." She took a drag from her ever-present cigarette.

OOC: XDD I've heard about people having that problem... I'm kind of disappointed it hasn't happened to me yet.

Hakuba just nodded in response and look at Lisa for the first time. She was tall, with bony elbows and fingers like claws, strong and brash to match her laugh, soft skin and crude sarcasm. Not bad.

"I never been in the states before, I was always more of a Europe traveler." He looked around, the place was full with people, mostly men, and not exactly the most respectable of the city.

"Yeah? Welcome to fucking America, then." She leaned back on her stool, dangerously balancing it on two legs.

OOC: XD Thanks. And sorry these RL tags are coming so slowly; hopefully I'll pick up the pace later today when I'm not so busy.

"Best welcome I ever had." Hakuba replied. The barman was now in front of him, and It was obvious that a drink without alcohol was not a possibility in that place. "I will have whatever she's drinking."

One would not kill him, he thought.

(OOC: I was on the city the whole day, so it's ok)

"You like scotch, man?" She raised a surprised eyebrow.

[clockmaster]

"That's what you're drinking?" he looked at her drink, it looked like it was made of mud instead of whiskey. "You should really try someday what a good scotch is, miss Lisa." the barman scowled at Hakuba, Hakuba glared back at him. The man murmured something before to put a drink in front of him and went away. "I will give it a try."

"Alcohol is fucking alcohol," she affirmed, taking a swig. "If you want some of that high-class shit, get somebody to give you a fake I.D."

[clockmaster]

"But the hangovers are different." Hakuba took a sip and grimaced. "I'm not much of a drinking person. there's other ways to have fun."

"'Course there are." She smirked.

[clockmaster]

"what do you have in mind?" Hakuba replied with a smirk of his own. "What would be your perfect night?"

[ciaohospitals]

The smirk widened. "How old're you? I probably can't answer if you're under eighteen."

[clockmaster]

"I can be as old as you want me to be." Now, that was exactly what she said him one day.

Good answer. It still didn't change the fact that she didn't know how to answer his question.
