Yes, prepping for a massage is just like prepping for a first date.
1. Shave, and shave well. It is a must that you really get all the way up your thighs and honestly check the bikini area. You never know what they will see and touch.
2. Shower with super yummies. A yummy shower gel is a must, you want to smell sweet and clean.
3. Check your feet and toes. Make sure those footsies are clean, not rough (so bust out the pumice stone) and of course your tootsie nails must be trim and cute. Cute meaning either painted or super clean and natural.
4. Select cute underwear. You don't know if they will see it, but hey make sure it is not ruanchy cause you never know! Matching is a plus.
5. Make an effort (no pun intended) to finish all body functions before your "date". Seriously, you don't want to make an embarassing run to the loo in the middle of your rub-down. Not to mention GAS!! Oh god! i was super aware of what i ate for the dinner last night and what i had for breakfast.
6. Brush those teeth and swish! Breath, um yeah, check it.
7. Waterproof mascara is a plus simply because you don't have to worry about it running or rubbing off on the face sheets. Nothing is worse then sheet marks and smeared mascara when you get up from the table.
So with all my date prep in mind today, I prepped for a massage (I finally used the gift cert that Csey got me for Mothers Day). After running to the bank to yell at them for having an ATM that ate my card (I swear i could have gotten out if I only had pliers), I dropped Bug at my moms, and headed over to my massage.
My girl was SWEET from the get go, I was immediately comfortable with her. Her hands were amazing, warm, soft, and strong. She was Perfect, and for a brief moment I swear she smelled like Casey, and then i had a small mental freakout because I think it was me I was smelling. Which of course lead me to think about my breath. NOT that I am making any comment about Caseys breath (he is REALLY good about it) but smells make me concerned for my own BO where ever it orginates.
It was wonderful!! I even had the neatest little arm sling to rest my arms in when i was face down. the whole arms on the table thing can be uncomfortable after a while, but they had these Hammocks under your head for your arms. NICE.
Now I am off to wrangle Alex, watch some Bravo (Hello Project runway), and clean the kitchen. Sweet! And my man comes home from away tomorrow night. YAY!
